The ingredients needed to make Chicken stock:
  1. Take 3 large disconnected chicken hip bones meat on
  2. Prepare 1 tsp turmeric
  3. Prepare 1 tsp granulated garlic powder
  4. Prepare 1 tsp paprika
  5. Prepare 1 tsp salt
  6. Make ready 2 quart water
  7. Get 2 large thigh bones, chicken

In a large stockpot, heat oil over medium heat. Brown chicken on both sides in batches. Place the chicken carcasses, garlic, vegetables, herbs and peppercorns in a large, deep-bottomed pan. Add the cold water and bring to the boil, skim, then turn the heat down to a simmer.

Steps to make Chicken stock:
  1. Boil the chicken add the spices. Boil till chicken is done
  2. Remove hips and thigh bones from liquid remove meat add the meat back to broth. Discard the hips. Your broth is done!

Place all ingredients in a soup kettle or Dutch oven. Slowly bring to a boil; reduce heat until mixture is just at a simmer. The chicken stock recipe below uses a whole chicken so you can use the meat in soup or another recipe, but you can also use this recipe with any bones that you have leftover, like from a roasted chicken or turkey.
