  11. Prepare 5-6 curry leaves
  12. Prepare 1/2 tsp asafoetida
  13. Take 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  14. Prepare 1 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  15. Get 1 tsp dhania jeera (coriander cumin)powder
  16. Take to taste Salt
Instructions to make Palak Spring Garlic Trevti Dal:
  1. Wash all the 3 dals and steam in steamer.
  2. When it is steamed add turmeric powder and salt as per taste and whisk it with whisker, and keep aside wash the palak and blanch the palak put in cold water.
  3. Grind blanched palak into puree in mixer grinder, and keep aside keep chopped spring garlic, green Chili, ginger,garlic and curry leaves ready.
  4. Heat a pan add 1-tbsp ghee when melts add cumin and saunf, when starts cracking add curry leaves, green Chili, asafoetida, red chilli powder, dhaniajeera powder and saute for awhile
  5. Add palk puree mix well cook till ghee releases
  6. Add steamed Trevti dal mix well till merges well add 1/4- cup spring garlic and cook till 1-2 boil keep stirring continuously. Turn off gas add 1/2- lemon's juice and chopped coriander. Add 1-tbsp ghee at the end.
