  1. Prepare 1 bunch spinach (around 300gms)
  2. Take 2 cups gram flour
  3. Get 2-3 green chillies
  4. Make ready 1/4 tsp carom seeds
  5. Take 1 pinch Asafoetida
  6. Take to taste Salt
  7. Prepare 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  8. Take 1 tbsp rice flour (optional)
  9. Make ready 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  10. Take as needed Oil for deep frying
Instructions to make Palak Pakoda:
  1. Cut spinach stems and separate it's leaves. Clean it. And wash it.
  2. Cut spinach or you can use leaves directly also.
  3. Take gram flour in a large mixing bowl add rise flour in it. Add all the spices and make a lump free batter.
  4. Add chopped spinach leaves in it and mix it nicely.
  5. Heat oil in kadhai. Add 1-2 t spn hot oil in batter and mix it.pakoda becomes crisper because of it.
  6. Drop pakodas in hot oil with help of spoon or with your hand. Fry it golden brown by flipping it on medium heat.
  7. Remove pakodas out of of oil and serve it with chutany or tomato sauce.
